It's been longtime that I'm working on an standard design for my 2 other weblogs. They look good, I like them. I followed the same style I have on this weblog. Oh man I have to work harder, I haven't worked on the search engine for weeks. you know why? I just came to know a beautiful girl, and it's like spending my time with her is more enjoyable than spending time on the computer. and It just made my mind busy. just like that, I wonder how people with wife and kids are living their life. or maybe i've got too much on my schedule. (which I can't stop working on them) I believe I can do more, I should do more.

I finally got skype working. honestly don't know how. It makes no sense. because I haven't done anything actually. Longtime ago I had bought a linksys Skype phone from Mall of Emirates. I tried to make it work but it didn't. because we have a central router at home which our 5 computers connect through it to the net. but after I bought the MacBook Air and the new server plus the new iPhone and so and so, Now I have 6 devices which are connected to internet (in a single room), so I had to find out a new way to connect to the internet. And guess what, I bought the new Belkin Router, The one which has a very good and informative LCD, the beautiful one, hahaha, and I'm really enjoying it. It seems it has a different IP range and I easily configured the Skype phone to connect. and guess what it just started working. I tried it by calling my relatives in UK and USA. It was really working in UAE. I haven't done any trick to make it work. It's just working like that. Even my skype line is working. The voice mail is working. everything works fine and I'm just happy. My first guess is because it's a standalone skype client, that's why it's not blocked by the proxy.

I was thinking what makes my eyes find out a list of items on a webpage as a list. either there is a set of lines or the text is arranged in a way that shows a similar pattern, so if I write an algorithm which follows the same way my eyes recognize a property list, then my application can do it too. I actually wrote a small script which points out repeated html tags inside a page. so if there is a table of many ""s it finds it out. not so intelligent but still it's helpful to write crawlers for each single property list. * funny thing is I code a crawler for a Real Estate website today, tomorrow the site disappears. WTF!!!

I still can't believe i paid 9 thousand dirhams for a phone. I've been waited for so long to get an iPhone, but I used to tell myself that I have to wait till the new one comes out. And I had to prove that I'm a freaky Geeky person. so here I am 9000 dirham less. ;D no worries, I wish iPhone had MMS, I wish it had Video Call.
